making somebody's day

Just felt like sharing this... It was a chapter in my English This story is narrated by the author about his friend's thought process. Quite interesting.. although I don't remember much, but I remember the crux of it.. hope can give the due respect to the author. So here it goes: The author and his friend are travelling through bustling crowded city through a taxi. As can be expected in such crowded city, there was lot of traffic jams on their way, jumping signals, overtaking cars, rash driving and what more... the driver too loosing his patience. Finally, they arrive at their destination. While paying the driver his fare, the friend said, "Thank you, you did a good job". And the driver had a small smile Stunned by the statement, the author asked, "Why was such statement, it wasn't a fairy ride?" The friend simply replied, " I was making his day". When the dream comes true

Ever experience the pleasure of any wish, a small dream, getting fulfilled without any effort, any planning, unexpected, out of the browns (Well I know the correct phrase is out of the blues ). Description of this feeling fall short of words. I recently experienced, my one such dream come true and I lived that moments to the fullest. Thanks to a dear friend, his wife and my husband for making, although unknowingly, making it true for me!!!

Prayers work

I believe in miracles because I do believe in prayers I believe in prayers because I believe in that supreme authority I believe in that supreme authority since (s)he believes in me I believe in myself because I believe in the powers of positive thinking I believe in positive thinking because I have seen miracles working with it.

On this festival of Holi

You are in a different country when: You wish your family and friends with festival greetings on email instead of wishing with a warm hug and gulal. You end up having message especially google searched and typed with colourful text and an added picture. You are in a different country when: Your messages to your friend or family are returned with the same email by just changing names. You are in a different country when: You wish festival greetings on email to your colleague (who belongs to the same country) right next to you. Doesn’t bother to shake hands and exchange sweets. Its strange, but we still do that…
